Refunds & Cancellation Policy
Sometimes events or activities may not go to plan and cancellations may occur. These are our guidelines for cancellations.
Bookings will only be refunded or exchanged if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Host (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993). You must apply for a refund within a reasonable time. Clique does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances.
If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Host, to the fullest extent permitted by law all liability is limited to the amount for which the booking was purchased (including any fees or charges). Proof of purchase may be required for any refund or exchange. To the fullest extent permitted by law neither Clique nor the Host will be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event, including any travel and accommodation expenses.
Cancellation by guests
As a guest all bookings are final however you may be able to message your Host to request your booking to be changed to a different date.
Cancellations by hosts
We encourage our hosts not to cancel any booked events.
Repeated cancellations, or no-shows, are a violation of our Terms and Conditions and may result in account suspensions or bans. A link to our Terms and Conditions can be found at the bottom of this page.
Cancellations by Clique Admin
If a listing is found to breach any of the Clique guidelines or pose any potential risk for any reason to users or staff it may be removed by the Clique Admin. If this happens any paying guests will be fully refunded.
Cancellations due to weather, environment or safety concerns
In an unfortunate situation where weather or environment becomes an issue or unsafe for any reason, either before or during the event or activity, the host may wish to cancel. If this happens, the guest will be fully refunded.
As a guest if you believe the weather or environment or any other factor is a safety risk your yourself or anyone else at anytime during an event please inform your host.
We may request further information to be supplied from either the host or guest to verify any weather, environment or safety cancellation claims made.
Cancellation due to an Emergency or Unavoidable Incident
If an emergency or unavoidable incident occurs causing a cancellation by the host all guests will be refunded. If a guest needs to cancel due to an emergency or unavoidable incident they may also apply for a refund.
Due to the nature of this type of claim we will request further information to be supplied from either the host or guest to verify any cancellation claims made due to an emergency or unavoidable incident. Clique understand some instances may be sensitive however due to fraudulent claims we must verify all claims made before a refund can be completed.
Changes to This Cancellation Policy
We may update our Cancellation Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Cancellation Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
